I’m delighted to welcome bestselling author of smart, spicy, Regency romances ELLA QUINN for an exclusive interview.
Thank you so much for having me on your blog, Carol!! You are such a boon to authors!!

R&R:
Could you tell us where you were born and what it was like growing up there?
Ella:
I was born in Grosse Point, Michigan, USA. However, I didn’t grow up there. I moved before I was two, then was back for fourth, fifth, and part of sixth grade. I actually grew up all over the US, part of Canada, Europe and North Africa.
Rabat, Malta
R&R:
How would you describe yourself – temperamental or easy-going?
Ella:
I think I’m easy going. Not everyone shares that opinion.
R&R:
When it comes to food do you like sweet or savoury or both?
Ella:
I like savoury much more than sweet.
R&R:
What is your most treasured possession?
Ella:
Hmm, probably my boat. It allows me to travel.
My boat
R&R:
If you were able to afford a second home anywhere in the world where would you choose and why?
Ella:
We’ve had homes all over, and I have chosen to sell the last one to live on the boat. That enables me to live just about where I want to.
R&R:
Finally, what has been your most embarrassing moment?
Ella:
There have been so many. The most recent one was arriving at a conference without any panties. I had to find someone to take me to a store.

Ella, thank you so much for taking time out to be here today and sharing these fascinating facts about yourself.
LOL, I’m not sure how fascinating they are, but it was a pleasure to visit with you today! Thanks again for asking me.
If you would like to find out more about Ella and her books, here are the links:
LMBO about the panties! I almost forgot my jammies. Would have been very embarassing since I had a rooomie:-)
I was fortunate that another writer drove me to the store to buy some. But she thought it was a great joke, so there was no keeping it a secret!
LOL Panties. How in the world did that happen? I don’t know what can top that. 🙂
Ok, time for full disclosure. I only wear panties when I’m wearing a dress. I now keep them in my suitcase.
LMAO!
Yes, the panties answer was funny but Ella seemed to side-step answers to the other questions.
Did I, La Deetda? What do you want to know?
The second home question: where would you like to be able to tie up your boat?. Where “all over the US” did you grow up? What kind of savory do you like? Nosey readers want to know?
Ha, so glad you had your panties last year when we roomed together!
Me too, Collette. Although, there was a mall across the street, so they would have been easy to buy.
Fun stuff! Love the commando story.
Thank you for stopping by, Jess!
Ella is a woman much like her heroines. She forges a path where few dare to go. I enjoyed the interview and will be enjoying Lady Beresford’s Lover real soon!
Thank you, Eileen!! I hope you love the book!
I was going to comment if you just happened to forget to put them on that morning but you have answered my question! And I can see why you like to travel so much since it’s what you’ve been doing from an early age 😉
But I also leave my nightgown at home a great deal, Joanna, and I wear that every night! The longest I’ve lived anywhere was in Stuttgart, Germany.
I will see you at the literacy signing in a couple of weeks, Ella! Taking the train in from Long Island with my daughter, who will be long-suffering by the end of the day. LOL. PS, I always make packing lists & check them off as I pack stuff. I haven’t gone away in 8 years, so this summer when we drive to Fla, I will make sure to do that. We are driving, though, so we can veer off to the store at any time! Thanks for the interview, Carol & Ella!
I can’t wait to see you, Sharlene!! I’ve tried packing lists. I make them, then leave things off.
