I underestimated the power of love. The love of a mother for a child she did not give birth to. The love of a father for a son who was not his own. The love of brothers for one who did not carry their blood. The love of a sister for a brother who was not born into the family.
The love of a wife for a husband she chose. The love of a woman for a man who appreciated her strengths and her weaknesses. The love of Phee, the center of my most precious memories, the heart of my life. The true dragon who slayed my demons as I slayed hers.

I am intrigued!
This is a wonderful series but I would recommend that you read the original series, Scoundrels of St. James first. The heroes of the Scandalous Gentlemen of the Ton are the sons of the characters in the original series.
oh isn’t this book so good? I just love what she has done with this series, and how its connected with the scoundrels of st. james…with all the supporting characters…makes me want to re read that series again.
I loved it but I think When The Duke Was Wicked is still my favourite. I love seeing the characters from Scoundrels of St. James. I used to re-read my favourite series regularly but now I have so many books on my TBR pile that I don’t have the time anymore.
